  It began with two friends who decided to venture out and start their own business doing what had brought them together as friends – working in the flooring industry. In March of 1964, Richard Fink and Calvin Ford started F&F Floor Covering & Carpet as a partnership, working out of Decatur installing carpet, vinyl and hardwood.
